I'm a 22-year-old student and dillettante, currently on hiatus from a BA degree in English literature and psychology.

Whether or not I'm slaving away at an undergraduate education, the bulk of my time and energy is spent reading a lot of books simultaneously, attempting to write fiction, or trying to discreetly lug around one of two cameras. I also collect things I want to remember on my tumblelog, Throwing Down Flowers.

I'm fond of semicolons, black tea with milk and sugar, news radio, yellow flowers, television shows featuring women named Starbuck, mangoes, robin's egg blue, the song 'Quito' by The Mountain Goats, and anything created by or about Woolf, Garland, and Plath.

I live in British Columbia, Canada, with my parents and siblings, our dog, and a cat named Abra.
